Buyer Beware of Cancellation Policy
I contacted Allurez to cancel my order (not a custom piece) which was placed on 1/12/19. My order has not yet been shipped. I was told they are unable to cancel because their cancellation policy is 24 hours after ordering. I find this very disappointing since my order has not yet shipped. The customer service representative was very argumentative even though he assured me that I could request a return once I received the order. Now mind you, I am responsible for the return cost and insurance which would be avoided if allowed to cancel. I hope that once I receive the ring it is not as disappointing as their cancellation policy (which makes no sense) or their customer service.
***Update***Received the ring today in a beautiful box. Disappointed in the ring. Stones are smaller than I thought.
***Update*** On 2/5/19 I received an email from Allurez offering a $50 store credit to “make things right”. I declined. The store credit is not only insulting but worthless to me since I will not be making any future purchases with them.
