The seller sent me a broken watch and I sent back an email to let him know the problem 2 days after I received it. There was no response after 3 business days so I asked eBay to step in and help. ebay made decision and refunded me 2 days later. Seller just emailed me, told that he missed my email and offered me to repair the broken watch by myself with a promission of 150 USD compensation I informed him that I don't want to repair but I want to return the watch. I sent back the watch via FedEx shipping service with a tracking number. I paid the FedEx service fee by myself as the seller didnot offer anything. Overall I spent approximately 300 USD for thailand import custom tax, FedEx service for the watch return and currency converting service by paypal for nothing!! The seller sent an email asking me to delete or revise the negative review on ebay website with a 300 USD courtesy refund. I decided to revise the customer review from negative to neutral. After that the seller disappeared without the refund he promised. I noticed that the seller care only with his business reputation but not the loss of the customer. I returned the item because it was broken not because I did not like it. Rapid response with a good customer support are very important. I feel that he concerns only about himself which is not a good qualification of a good merchant.
