I wish that I could have giving 0 stars because I would have. This is the worst experience I've ever had with buying a car! Everyone was nice yes, Yamilet which is who helped me get the car was nice however, I got the car on December 4th. A few days later the car started overheating and has been in the repair shop since. I haven't hardly driven the car at all since I've had it! The finance company still expects for you to make your first payment as normal as if everything is ok when it's not! Do not buy a car from here. I should have known something was not right when Yamilet pretended as if she was checking the car to make sure everything was ok then she proceeded to pop the hood and said "Oh the water coolant is fine". It didn't dawn on me until a few days later the coolant was leaking everywhere and car over heating. It is still at a repair facility. I am a pissed off unhappy customer.

So I bought 2015 jeep 12/9/23 within 30 days it has been in the shop 4 times bad brakes, wheel bearing is bad, radio stop working the antenna was loose, i found out it had 3 recalls the jeep never should been sold to me it was unsafe to drive this company put a band aid on these cars but then the band aid falls off and you are stuck with the bill plus the car was not cleaned and I had no spare tire after numerous calls and getting people with authority they finally took the jeep back I will never refer anyone to Drivetime plus read the fine print the sold me 17,000.00 but in 2029 I would have paid 46,600.00 pymts were 600.00 month I could bought a new car with that rate they definitely switched up on you when u get there plus I did my research what I should have done in the beginning this company use to be call Ugly Ducking then they changed to Drivetime I wonder y also when it was time for me to check the car out he gave me a pad with a check list told me check off everything that not on paper that was a (red flag )but I still went with it my first time buying a car from Drivetime was horrible but I learned my lesson and the salesman never went out with me to look at the car he stay inside the whole time that a (another red flag) when you speak to Drivetime employees they sound like robots they keep repeating the same thing I guess that what they are trained to go I bought this jeep at the Glenn Burnie lot

If I could give a negative I would. My daughter first time buyer not knowing anything got a car from the Wilmington nc location car is worth 12000 and was told she would by a little over 17000 by the end she will end up paying over 37000. That is insane that a company would do that to a young adult. Please take your money to a honest company.

Not from there crooks.
Been looking on Craigslist for a car. Drive Time is all over Craigslist. SO MISS LEADING. They postcars on there for a price. Then when you go there THEY A TRIPLE THE PRICE. BAIT AND SWITCH AT IT'S FINEST.

If I could rate this lower than 1 star I gladly would. Go literally anywhere else in search of a car before these lying vile disgusting wicked backstabbing fork-tongued devils. -5 stars. Straight dog-kaka. Will tell you you’re taken care of by people who care then proceed to manipulate you into a dangerously catastrophic wreck all the while smiling asking you to write them a positive review before leaving. Warranty/Experience
Before buying a car here, pay very careful attention to the mileage. They will sell you a car that is coming up to have major repair work needed for wear and tear - like shocks, sway bars for example. They will then sell you the most expensive warranty saying it handles all major repairs that will save you alot of money moving forward. Be warned - the warranty does NOT cover 'normal wear and tear'. So unless you abusing your newly purchased vehicle, this warranty is next to worthless as nothing that comes up will be covered. You just wasted money on a warranty that only adds to your loan. Of course they have the 3 day return policy or even the 30 day. I can't think of very much on a car that can be 'covered up' to last that long. To end this - be prepared to buy a car that will require thousands in 'wear and tear' with less than 3/4 year of ownership. If you do not buy the warranty, this might be worth it. If you do buy it - be prepared to get kicked where the sun don't shine.

Awful Experience
I wasted two days at your dealership in Memphis, Covington Pike; not to mention the 40 min drive to and from. I went to your website, found a car, drove it, liked it, and went to buy it with the quotes you gave online. I get to the store to purchase, and the down payment was $3000 more than what I was quoted online. Did not get vehicle, and will not entertain another drive time dealership. That’s pitiful doing people like this. Don’t have the stuff online, then change it in store. Very depressing, and hurtful to the people who are trying to get a vehicle.

Very disappointed
I purchased a car from drive time in November since the 3rd day of driving off the lot I had multiple problems with the vehicle turns out the car they sold me needed a brand new motor for 11226.00 not only was I out of a vehicle I couldn’t get a rental because of the holidays and that silver rock protection warranty is bull crap they tried to get Nissan to put in a used motor in my vehicle instead of a new one which Nissan declined to do so I had to give the vehicle back to drive time and try to get my down payment back the manager there couldn’t help me at all no one really could all I wanted was to be put in another vehicle the way they treated me and my issue which had nothing to do with me because they sold me a lemon to be honest and no one wanted to own up and take accountability for their mess up I would never go back here and try to purchase a vehicle I’m very disappointed in the company and management for the way they handle this issue when it wasn’t even my fault

bad business
Scammers…bad business, don’t waste your time u will regret it. Taught I was making the right decision with financing a car with DriveTime, worst thing I’ve ever did. By day 6 I was having issues with the car was told to take the car to an in-network mechanic shop in which I did now have to wait for their approval process while in the mean time I have to rent cars until the car is fixed which took about 4 days to fix. Now a year later another problem the engine is bad…don’t make the mistake and deal with these people they’re bad business

Too pushy
I first visited this site yesterday and have already had 4 phone calls. I was under the impression that this was a "make your own deal" site and I would not be bothered like the dealerships do. Well I was wrong. The reason I visited Drive Time was to not be pressured but it is just as annoying. If I want to make a deal, I will contact you, but now I will not because you do not respect my privacy.

Complete Waste of time
Contacted the salesman , send all the information over to him and he verified the approval. Drove 3 1/2 hours one way to pick up the vehicle. Then they decided to change the terms on me. Complete waste of time, couldn’t be more disappointed.

Worst car buying experience ever
Worst car buying experience ever. The sales associate wanted to get everything done in a hurry. Sold us a full extended warranty from Silver Rock. The car broke down with less than 500 miles since our purchase. Calling drive time or SilverRock is of absolutely no use as they keep on taking us in circles . Both stating that we should all the other . Car has been sitting for over 6 weeks with no response from either after calling endless times. Think twice or more before buying from this dealership.
