Do not purchase a car here
Do not purchase a car here. I had to unexpectedly purchase a vehicle. The first car I purchased needed a brand new engine and was completely rusted on the bottom. Didn’t know that until I took it to a mechanic when the engine started running hot 2 days after purchase. Took it back within 3 days of purchasing it to exchange it for another car. The SECOND car is having issues starting a week after I purchased it. DO NOT buy a junk car from this place.

I should’ve went to the public auction
Writing this while having to take the bus. I financed a car with them in May 2023. The car start giving my issues a day before thanksgiving and it’s been in and out the shop from there. They sold me a lemon. SMH A struggling single mother. I called them and they just said call your warranty program.

This place should be ashamed
This place should be ashamed! They lie - my brother in law did all his paperwork etc online and over the phone and when he got there - it was not what was told to him - he specifically told them what he could afford - and wow he was approved until he got there and it was a different amount - he was stuck at that dealership with no ride for over an hour - they disgust me! I hope everyone of the lies they tell come back to bite them in the ass! I will never recommend this place to anyone!

Don’t waste your money or time here
Me and my husband purchased a car on a Wednesday. The car was a fairly new car only four years old. Well I didn’t drive the car until that Friday and Saturday morning I went to work and the check engine light came on. Went to autozone to see what the code was. My husband called drive time and they told him to drop it off at the mechanic. Needless to say it’s been several days since they had the car. In fact it’s been five days to be exact and they have had the car longer than I actually had the car in my possession. I do not recommend anyone getting a vehicle from here. They will sale you a lemon and you will be inconvenience. I am beyond pissed because I read views on this location some years ago and yet I went against my better judgement because I desperately needed a car to get to work. They know people only come there because it’s a last resort and that take full advantage of it.

Beyond unprofessional
Beyond unprofessional. I spoke with Angel via text which he provided me with my "set terms" I asked him 3 times if this is final, is there a possibility of the terms changing. He said "No, they are locked in." I drove an hr, left work early, and couldn't pick my son up from school he the "30 mins of me signing, paying and leaving" turned into over an hr. and my down payment which was "locked in" went from $745 to $3,999!!!!! The "assistant manager" who was helping me, thought the entire thing was a joke, and kept laughing and trying to make light of the situation. He even said, " I guess this is a learning lesson". He sat there and had me even change over my insurance to the car I thought I was approved for, WHICH I NEVER WAS! Thank God I went to a legit dealership and got an honest and legit deal. Stay away from this place.

Do not repeat do not but a car from this company literally had the car for 2 months and I have a $600 bill and they are saying I’m on my own 2 months they are not doing any inspections on those cars how would this happen if this was the case Brandy was not helpful she had the robot voice on and she is in customer relations Is this how you treat customer signing up for a 6 year contract paying a car note wbi weekly I have 3 kids I came because you said you have reliable cars and this in not the case

DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE this place is an absolute joke. I bought a car here less than 6 months ago and it has been in the shop more than I've been able to even drive it. It's had everything you could imagine fixed on it and now possible looking at a second engine in it, first one put in less than a month ago. So not only am I paying for a car I can't even safely drive my kids in, I'm paying for car rental, repairs silverrock doesn't cover and deductibles. It would have been cheaper at this point to be renting a car this last six months. I had to pick up a second job just to be able to afford to live due to this car and all of its issues. It's beyond ridiculous. Drivetime is absolutely no help in this either. It's just bring it back to the shop to be fixed. Well it's ridiculous it should even have to be in the shop this entire time since purchasing it. Save yourself the stress and do not buy here

Disgusted with false advertisement
Drivetime is not different than any other lying car dealership with their gimmicks. They tell you you need 3 things to be approved and give you a down payment amount. It doesn't matter if you give them the exact information, they fail to reveal to you that they are truly not a no credit check lender and that it does matter if you have no credit or bad credit with their A,B, or C ratings. They flat out get you to give them all your information do docusign, want you to link your bank account and then a car that was $1495 down turns into $7400 down for a 24k vehicle. Don't ever trust them to stand by what they originally quote. Do your leg work and get all the information like we did before you drive 7 hours like we almost did.

PLEASE REFUND MY DOWN PAYMENT
I purchased a vehicle on March 15th 2024 and returned it on March 19th 2024 because it was having severe mechanical issues. The vehicle literally wouldn’t turn off because it wouldn’t stay in park. Today is April 25th and they have yet to refund my down payment. I purchased the vehicle in good faith and returned it within the legal days I was required to. I have the Vehicle Return Agreement which states I am entitled to the full amount of my downpay and they still continue to avoid rectifying this situation. My bank has sent them numerous requests to show proof that they refunded any money to me and they have yet to even respond to the bank. Please steer clear of making any purchases through this company.

Don't buy from drive time "SCAM"
This is a scam, once you buy your car, drive time do not want anything to do with you. If you car has a problem they tell you to call a number. The first day I brought a car it broke down on the interstate and they the old me to call someone else. They would not even come get me. DON'T BUY FROM THEM.

Buyer beware!
Buyer beware!! Drove 4 cars with drivetime in Fresno helping my son buy a car. He ended up buying a car on the way home the car had mechanical issues. I called silver rock made a report went and had the car checked out it had many many things wrong with the car on day 4 I took the keys back to drivetime looked at another car there was some issues I didn’t feel comfortable with so I drove it it again had mechanical issues! These issues had to do with breaks/ drive line/ struts and rotors etc I was not about to let my son buy a car that’s worth maybe 17,000 at a apr of 22% making the buy over 44k it’s ridiculous for a first time buy with this many problems!! Signed all papers to get refund for the $1000 we put down as a down payment! Apparently now it takes 7-10 days and then we have to go pick it up at the dealer… this is not my first time buying a car!! I definitely DO NOT recommend this place!

Check engine light came on within 10…
Check engine light came on within 10 hrs of me purchasing the car . Driving my kids to school the speed started to reduce. Across the dashboard it stated service transmission. I’m lost for words and were sold a lemon car and now have to wait for a paper check for my refund which can take 7 days . I was advise they could only put me into something I didn’t won’t to drive a ford fusion with 94000 miles on it . Bad horrible experience

It’s only been 7 MONTHS with my vehicle…
It’s only been 7 MONTHS with my vehicle that I bought from Drivetime…. I’m already having engine issues with my vehicle…. The customer service is terrible. I’m very upset that I’ve had not 1 but 2 incidents where I have to bring my car to a mechanic to get fixed. I want to return this car and give it right back to them… I’m absolutely done with DriveTime. The cars they have on the “LOT” are LEMON CARS. & the warranty the have you use “ SilverRock” don’t even get me started …. 0 STARS!!!!!!!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. I’m very upset.

If I could give a lower star I would
If I could give a lower star I would, I was sold a car that appeared to have no issues and 3 days later the check engine light and oil change light came on. I took the car to get a diagnostic and was told by jiffy lube the car had an oil leak, a messed up catalytic converter and a bunch of code’s coming up. I spoke with the dealership and they said they were unaware, of course I was able to return the car to receive my money back per the return policy. But I cannot believe my experience went that way.

The worst!!!
The worst!!!! I have an 820 credit score and the offered me 12% interest financing. I couldn’t believe it. I was under the assumption they worked with multiple banks and other institutions to finance. My bad. They only work with one finance company. Ridiculous. I went to a dealer and got 4.99% on a certified used car. Don’t go here!

I traded the first car in within the first 5 days. Unfortunately the car I was given didn’t last 24 hours. The check engine light is on, the transmission is slipping & the vehicle won’t by more than 40 mph. Of course this would handle on Easter weekend so I can’t get the diagnostic testing until Monday
