Nine years and going great
Purchased speakers for a 5.1 surround system nine years ago. Had a strange room setup. Sent them a diagram and they helped me configure the system and pick out appropriate speakers. Great communications during the buying and shipping process. When the speakers arrived we were stunned. Packed extremely well and they were beautiful, gorgeous actually. Installation was a breeze. I called tech support a couple times with some nit pick questions. Got almost immediate responses. The sound is incredible. I tested them out on the Mahler Symphony No. 1. Fantastic. Clear highs, amazing presence. Needless to say, they did just fine in surround mode. Be careful with the sub woofer. There is enough power there to move the walls back and forth. Talk to my wife when I play Led Zeppelin. That said the bass is clean and not boomy. Of course they sent a follow up message -- not a survey. How do you like you speakers? anything we can do? kind of message. Told them about my experience and the president of the company wrote back thanking me for my purchase and input. He then asked which version of the Mahler I was listening to (Chcago Symphony - Abbado). Nine years later they still sound as good as the day I got them. Movies, classical music, rock n roll all sound great. And they still look stunning.

No Regrets!
I have been researching and watching reviews regarding this company and it's products for about 5 years. I am very skeptical when purchasing online. Nowadays companies post fake reviews!! Today is 4-27-18.. About 3 months ago, I pulled the trigger on the 45 day free trial. I purchased the Verus Grand Series (2 Towers, 2 Bookshelf speakers and the center channel). I had to wait on the towers, as they were back ordered. So, I had time to listen to just the bookshelf speakers and the center channel. Upon arrival, some of the boxes were damaged in transport. I pulled out my camera and started recording the condition of the box before I opened it! I've had a few bad experiences with online sellers... Thankfully none of the speakers were damaged. I was soooo excited!! I really hoped that these speakers lived up to all the hype and expectation. Long story short, I was very impressed with the quality of the sound and the wood finish. I have NEVER purchased a product for over $2700. This was a very uncomfortable decision. Especially considering (1) I had never heard the speakers in person and didn't personally know anyone who had,(2) I didn't want to box all this stuff up and send it back if I didn't like it, (3) My money would be tied up during this process, which could easily be months,(4) I had never dealt with this company before and I would have to take a chance on the quality of the product & warranty. I began this process last December. I am pleased to say, I love these speakers and they were worth every penny!! Aperion Audio is one of the best companies by far that I have ever worked with! I want to give a shout out to Dallas my customer srv rep. He did a fantastic job!! Thank you!!

Very positive long-term owner experience
I've owned my Verus Grand/Intimus/Bravus 10D system for several year now and wanted to write a brief review on the speakers and Aperion's customer service. The speakers: To begin, the speakers are in a gloss cherrywood finish and look as good today as they did when I removed them from their boxes and protective cloth bags. The finish is durable, having survived secondary use as an occasional cat perch. Sonically, the Verus front-channel speakers are dynamic and extended (both high and low). The integration between the Verus main speakers (stand-mounted two-ways) and the Bravus subwoofer is seamless. The Intiimus center channel does its job and the rear speakers (Intimus bookshelf) provide great in-room coverage. The complete system provides an excellent home theater experience. The combination of the Aperion speakers and my Marantz receiver sounds great and I recommend both highly for their sound, ease of use, and overall value. Well done! Before buying my speakers I was able to speak with the folks at Aperion to discuss my room, planned use of the speakers, and finish and package offers. The pre-sale service (I wasn't even a customer yet) was outstanding enough that I remember it even after so many years. In addition, my Bravus 10D developed an issue after a couple of years and when I called I was told to ship the unit back for evaluation and repair. After a week or so I was informed that the amplifier in the sub was bad and that it had been replaced at no cost to me (even though I think the sub was out of warranty by a little bit) and was already on its way back to me (also at no cost). There have been no issues since then despite daily (and occasionally extended) use. If I could give Aperion more than five stars for their customer service I would. As you can probably tell, I'm still in love with my Aperion system and give the company my highest recommendations. While there are other options out there, I strongly encourage any prospective buyer to call the company and discuss your wants/needs - you might find (as I did) that you can stop looking after considering Aperion.

Good speakers .
Good speakers . I do have trouble with one of my Verus Grand Bookshelf speakers where the high frequency drops every once and a while.(I think it is a bad solder joint.) The speakers look great and sound good.

Great sound, frustrating experience!
First off, the sound of these speakers are fantastic, as is the bluetooth connectivity. What really puts a damper in these speakers however is the fact that they automatically turn off after a few minutes. Having used these speakers for years now I will say that the experience has really been frustrating. Imagine going to the bathroom or going to get the mail then coming back to play something to then notice the speakers are off, then having to find the remote to turn them on because thats the only way they will turn on. Now imagine doing that everyday for 3 years. Its gotten to the point where I just leave something playing while I go make a lunch or some other random task so I don’t have to keep turning on the speakers when I return. All in all, great sound and features but the fact that it always turns off after a few minutes if I’m not playing some sort of sound makes this a hair-pulling product to own. I wouldn’t buy these again.

Aperion 4T, just phenomenal!
I was very impressed with Aperion 4Ts in 2009 after reading great reviews. I was then in India and wanted to purchase a pair and take them over on a flight to India, but this never happened. Even to this day it’s hard for me to believe I was a fan of the 4Ts even though I had never heard them. I finally bought them in 2017; I am now in US. I have evolved as a music listener. In my early years of critical listening, I liked a lot of music rendered with over emphasized boom. Then slowly my taste changed to music that filled the soundstage completely with guitar sound, people usually call it rock or metal. Lately, I have started listening to classical flavors. In this evolution what stayed constant was my passion to hear the tonal balance of instrument sounds and vocals. Flat sound is the perfect sound to hear and that is where 4Ts excel. I have auditioned many speaker setups of different speaker manufacturers and their sound comparison has taught me the importance of the source of music, the amplifier and the speakers. I can say these are the best I have heard so far for a practical room size. The treble and the midrange are exceptionally crisp and flat. The benefit of cutoff at around 60Hz bass frequency is how loud you can listen to music for hours without feeling any ear fatigue. The louder you play the 4Ts the more resolved is the accuracy, three dimensionality of the sound alongwith a huge soundstage. Rock solid rendering of the vocals really makes the 4Ts stand out, indeed great engineering. The instruments sound so pure. I highly recommend the 4Ts for a stereo setup for music listening.

I bought a home theater surround sound…
I bought a home theater surround sound system from Aperion around 12 years ago with the exception of the center channel speaker. Twelve years later I decided to purchase the center channel speaker to match my system and remembered why I have been a fan of Aperion for over a decade. Excellent quality and fantastic customer service. Don't waste your money on the big name brands before giving Aperion a try first.

I have a Verus Grand 7:2 hybrid and love it. I have 2 wireless subs and in-ceiling speakers. It's a very versatile system that supports my gaming and home theater setup. Love the quality, durability and ease of set up. Thinking of separating the dedicated front base and going 9:2. Can't wait.
