"What Not to Do" of customer service
"What Not to Do" of customer service. I called today to look at options for repairing my hairdryer. I told them immediately that I am based in Canada, and I bought the item brand new second hand– I just wanted it to get fixed— and a Canadian customer service agent (a whole other horrid review for Dyson CA) referred me. We went through a whoooole hour of "troubleshooting" and going on and off hold. After all this, and endless "clean your filter" monologues I had to endure while on hold, the agent tells me that because I am in Canada I can't have my hair dryer repaired and there is nothing they can do. I wasted my morning with these people and I am disappointed that I lost time, and now have a 1.5 yo product heading to landfill. Cool cool cool.
