Never Purchase Xero Shoes
I will never purchase a pair of Xero shoes again in my life. My Mother in Law got me a pair of the Prios for Christmas for me to wear at the gym where I lift but also do HIIT training classes. Immediately the right insole started to come out of the shoe while wearing them. Even if I walk at a brisk pace, let alone due exercise. So I reached out to customer service and they sent a new pair of insoles. Ok, I tried that and it doesn't work. I reached out to let them know it didn't work and request a new pair of shoes as it's incredibly frustrating to have to stop my workout to adjust my shoe all the time. That was last Thursday when I asked again, still haven't gotten a response (today is a Tuesday). BUT I noticed that in the email where the sent the new insoles they instructed me that if this doesn't work that I should buy some double-sided tape and adhere the insole to the shoe myself and they will pay me back for the tape...
So, let me get this straight - the shoe doesn't work, it's a huge pain in the butt and instead of sending a new pair I'm told to go buy some tape and fix it myself? That's the approach to customer service? Fix it myself? These are $90 shoes...not cheap. I expect much better customer service and a company willing to offer a replacement pair of shoes when they don't function as expected vs. taping them together. What a joke.
