I needed my contacts in a rush
I needed my contacts in a rush. I'm not sure if anyone else out there hates wearing glasses but I do and a small mishap by my two year old left me with one pair of old contacts. I did my order on Thursday evening and chose 1 business day UPS shipping (the fastest OptiContatcs.com offered) When I get the tracking number the next day it says for a Monday delivery. I was a little upset. I assumed Friday would be the business day and it would be at my house by Saturday (since UPS works Saturday) but I thought whatever, I can make what I have last until Monday. Monday rolls around and it says my package was delivered. I come home and can't find the package so I check the UPS delivery confirmation and it says it's delivered GARDEN CITY, NY, US and my address (and shipping address) is in SACRAMENTO, CA. So then I call UPS to see if it's a mistake on their part and they confirm that it was not addressed to ship to my home (so a fault on OptiContacts). Now, I'm getting upset but I'm sure when I call in the morning they will get this straightened out. I just got off the phone with customer service, it's Tuesday morning, and the rep says that is the wrong tracking number which is obviously wrong because if they shipped it and just included the wrong tracking number my order would be in my hands and I let him know that. I said I need my order what can you do for me. He says he has to check with the shipper and he can get back to me by the end of the day. I said I at least need to get my super rush shipping cost refunded to me and he says there is nothing he can do until everything is sorted out. So here I am stuck with all the money for a new order (from a different company) tied up with a company that has no clue where my order is waiting for someone to hopefully email me by the end of the day. I will post an update when I hear back.
UPDATE:
As their reply below states, they sorted it out the day I called and I got my contacts the next day. Product was correct. Updated to 3 stars as it was still highly inconvenient.
