I recently purchased the G Form Unhinged Youth Lacrosse Arm Guards for my 10-year-old, hoping to find a reliable and protective option for his lacrosse games. Unfortunately, my experience with these guards was less than satisfactory. Upon arrival, I was disappointed to find that while the size of the guard was adjustable unlike the adult ones. The level of protection provided was minimal, barely covering the back of his arm. Unlike the adult size, these guards lacked the comprehensive wrap-around design that protects the sides of the elbow like a traditional lacrosse arm pad. Regrettably, the product fell short of expectations regarding its suitability for youth players. I would say these "may" be ok for limited contact youth players in the K-3 range. I am now in the process of requesting a return, as these arm guards do not align with the safety standards required for our more physical youth lacrosse players. I urge the manufacturer to reconsider the design and post a age range of their youth products to better serve the needs of young players. In conclusion, if you’re considering the G Form Unhinged Youth Lacrosse Arm Guards for a young player starting off, be cautious about the level of protection they offer. It’s crucial that youth sports equipment meets the necessary safety standards, and unfortunately, this product falls short in that regard.
