“Luxury”? More like “ghetto thief”
I wish it was possible to give no stars. I have ordered from shop Oyemwen a year ago & things went smoothly. This time not at all. The issues started out when she was unable to finish my garment within her policy timeline. She then offered for me to receive the dress in a different color (which I chose). She began to ignore my emails, my dm’s & even delete my comments from under her pictures. I had to mention disputing the purchase with paypal in order to get a response and even then she’d respond without answering questions and only saying what she wanted to say. Well eventually we got to the point where I received “your package has shipped”, I was excited because she made sure to say it was in fact in the color I initially ordered. When I received my package I immediately noticed it was the wrong color. The tulle dress was in what I’d describe as “aqua blue” but in her comment section on insta she said it is “custom color” and my slip dress was “mint” which was the color I ordered the entire dress to be in. I contacted her about it she immediately said she was expedite the correct color dress but then asked me to pay $40 for the expediting of the new garment as well as paying to return ship the dress that I received. I explained how her mess up was not my responsibility to correct and that I would solely pay for the return shipping but in no way was I responsible for paying the $40 to expedite the correct dress. Her response came an entire day later despite me only having 4 days until my event and she said “I understand your frustration but the dress we sent is mint but we will send you the dress you desire for the $40”. This is when things get really rocky, because in no way is the BLUE color she sent me MINT (which is GREEN!) especially by her own wording under her pictures. I am planning to return ship the dress I received after disputing my purchase through Paypal. One less person purchasing from her won’t hurt her business but my experience is not the first or the last bad experience from this company.
