Verishop’s dysfunctional cancelation policy
I made an online order and then canceled it by text 20mins later. A few minutes later I called them to ensure they received the cancellation and was told by their customer service rep, Jenny, that she could not cancel the order and would reach out to the merchant.
Subsequent to the above conversation, Shalini texted me with the same response. The merchant would have to be contacted before a decision could be made on whether the order could be canceled.
Both customer service reps were lovely. My review solely addresses the company’s approach on cancelations.
My lesson, do not do business with smaller middleman companies like Verishop. Moving forward, I will stick with purchasing direct from the merchant or from larger shops like Saks 5th who will cancel an unprocessed order via live chat.
