I had purchased a Forte Vertice 36 inch hood in November of 2019. Two years later, just after the warranty expired, I noticed a noise was coming from the unit. With further inspection by an appliance repair person, it was noticed that the blower wheel of the squirrel cage fan was broken. I contacted Superior Marketing and spoke with an agent (Dmitry) and because the unit was out of warranty he said they could do nothing other than order a new motor unit at my cost. This was in April of 2022. I paid the amount and waited until the new motor unit arrived at the end of October of 2022. The appliance repair person showed me that the motor unit arrived damaged. I contacted Superior Marketing and they promised that they would send a replacement from their warehouse. I have contacted them several times speaking with several different agents all promising to send a replacement. Speaking with an agent, named Rosa on December 13, 2022, she promised “that it will be sent today using priority post and that you should expect to receive it by Thursday December 15”. The replacement unit did not arrive.
I have all of the emails to verify the numerous communications I have had with this company, guaranteeing the accuracy of my story. I am writing to you because possibly you could have influence that would allow for reimbursement of the purchase price ($580.34 CAD) that I had paid back in June of this year or a replacement unit that is in unused working order.
