***addendum to my earlier review- I was contacted by a customer service representative after posting my review. She was very understanding and apologetic and offered to waive the shipping cost. I’d suggest if youre looking to buy a natural wood product to make sure you call and ask to see additional pictures or ask about variances. I appreciate that the time and effort was taken to make this right by Kathy Kuo Home. I bought a coffee table and while it was beautiful, it was much MUCH darker than what was pictured. I was told because it’s a natural wood this was to be expected and I would have to pay to ship it back. It cost us over $200 to be shipped back. The company that was scheduled to pick up the table came without notice and I was told by the truck driver that if I didnt get the box moved outside it would cost exponentially more to have them come inside and pick it up. This would have been nice to know ahead of time and I didnt have the label so had to ask the pick up company to come back the next day. The table weighed 75lbs and I’m 9 months pregnant so had to have neighbors come and move it outside for me. I communicated all of this to the Kathy Kuo representive helping me w the return. Apparently the pick up was never rescheduled and the coffee table sat on my front porch for three days until I emailed again saying it was still there and the pick up was finally rescheduled.
