Almost as a lark, I purchased the Verus Grand Tower. I say as a lark because I already own a pair of Intimus 5T speakers, an Intimus 5C bookshelf speaker, and two Intimus Brava 8A powered subwoofers. You might ask, why? Well, simple; I have the system installed in an acoustically engineered theater/music room which includes both tube-based and digital source and amplification equipment. That plus six soffit mounted surround speakers and the sound is in a word, fantastic. So, when I saw that I could buy the Grand Tower speakers on sale, it was a no brainer. The speakers arrived in perfect shape and on time. I must say that I always thought my prior Aperion speakers were great, but the Verus Grand Towers are ... spectacular. I have only about fifteen hours on the Verus speakers so they are not even remotely broken in but the sound is already amazing. They even integrate more effectively than my Intimus speakers with my two Brava subwoofers, delivering room shaking and perfectly clear bass.
