The way your policy reads it doesn't matter if my bags were missing for 2 days, or 13, I get $200 dollars. It doesn't matter if I had to replace my items in euros, not dollars, I get 200 dollars. It doesn't matter if it was not the airline but the 3rd party baggage handlers who locked my bags in a random German storage room and then could not retrieve them for days, 200 dollars. It doesn't matter if hours upon hours of my vacation was spent attempting to contact multiple entities about my bags. 200 dollars. It doesn't matter if days went by with no communication or knowledge of where my bags were, $200 dollars. It does not matter if 2,300 euro was spent and countless hours of my dream vacation wasted. Because my bags came back via FedEx by way of JFK after I was home, 13 days later.... $200 dollars. That policy needs to be reconsidered. No one can replace their belongings in Europe on 200 for 12 days. My vacation was miserable and ruined with no extra money, limited clothing and hours wasted to be compensated 200 dollars (to be fair, per person, so 400)
