Absolutely horrible pieces of furniture
Absolutely horrible piece of furniture. Broke in just 1 year and 3 months with regular use!!! The price reduced by almost $1000 just one month and 3 days after our purchase. When we asked to price match, they said we are outside the window by 3 days!! Pilling and loosening of the fabric started 4 months after purchase and room place said they don't consider it a damage and did not do anything! Now the legs of the chair broke and room place says we are out of warranty!!! EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!! They only sell overpriced cheap material furniture!!

The bed is poorly made
The bed is poorly made. I didn’t open it until 3wks after purchase because I was remodeling my room. When I finally did it was chipped. The instructions were hard to follow and it didn’t have the markings on where the screws should go. The Room Place disappointed me. Need to move on to other furniture stores, bye Room Place.

Ordered an ottoman for my living room…
Ordered an ottoman for my living room and was charged a $99 delivery fee. One that had I purchased the ottoman in person, could have been waived. Then, when I went to add protection for the ottoman, instead of being able to select the $49 option, I was immediately up charged to $150. The deceptive practice of telling customers you’re giving them 20% off or 30% off is overblown and a scam when you price gouge on the back end. I’ll take my business somewhere I won’t be subjected to deceptive practices. Very disappointed.

Don’t buy from them…
We ordered and paid for our furniture in January and it was supposed to be in March and then it was delayed to May AND then it was delayed to September. We called customer service & felt like we were getting the run around so we cancelled our order. We had fraud on the card we paid with so they were supposed to email us a form to change it and of course we are still waiting for the form and our money.

I went in store to place an order a…
I went in store to place an order a month before my delivery date. I told them I didn’t want warranty on any of the 4 pieces that I ordered. A month later, the day of my delivery one of the couches was missing. I called to find out what happened turns out they charged me warranty instead of the 3rd couch. They then resolved this for me in which I was informed the chair would be delivered the following day. Next day and I haven’t heard anything about when the driver was coming I called again and this time was informed that no delivery was scheduled after I was told it would be delivered by that day .

I am Dissatisfied
I place my order April 1,2024 it couldn't be deliver until May 31,24 but it came on May 11,24. The headboard has scratches on it, and it has to be replaced along with the foot board. I thought I order the nightstand, but I did not, so I asked to order it on May 11 while talking with Mary in customer service at the room place since they have to bring me a new head and foot board anyway. Mary said she will call me back she called today 5-14 24 and said that they were unable to wave the delivery charge. I shouldn't have to pay a delivery charge when they have to come back with my new head and foot board. I Made arrangement for the new date for the delivery.

Scheduling delivery has been frustrating, I keep requesting a date and they say okay that date works. Yet I am getting messages to deliver it sooner. I do not move to my new home until then. I also was notified a new confirmation for the delivery and COI and never got it.

When I called the Room Place to place…
When I called the Room Place to place an order for a dresser that I saw on your website, the phone was answered by some woman. I don’t not know her name, but she wasn’t a sales rep so she put me on hold for 15 minutes to go find a salesman then when she returned, she hung up on me, I called back and she said she would take my order and online. The order was taxes were cheaper so I had asked her about why it’s cheaper online and she did not know if she said she was gonna go get his salesman to call me back, which he never did ever when I came home. I just ordered it online , customer service was really bad

I don’t recommend anyone to buy…
I don’t recommend anyone to buy Guardian protection plans from Room place because they are offering this protection plan which covers accidentally damaged stains and any spots but when you actually try to claim this and now they are refusing to cover it. They are lying so please don’t believe anything about this protection plan I give them 0 out of 10.

I spent $10,000 in a number of years at…
I spent $10,000 in a number of years at the Room Place my $450 credit expired by a few months I tried to apply it to a $1600 dining room set for a gift. The credit was not available. The sale was not completed I understand there’s rules and would be nice if you’d reinstate the credit so I could follow through with the purchase for a gift for my daughter and her husband

Terrible Customer Service, and they refuse to call us back
We placed an order for a couch and loveseat in November that was supposed to be delivered on March 30th. In preparation for the delivery we sold our current couch and love seat. I called a day before to confirm the delivery time, and they told me that the furniture was delayed and someone should have called us. We stopped in the store a week later to speak to a manager and get a new delivery date and was told it would be end of May most likely. We expressed our discontent and tried to cancel the order but they wouldnt let us. The store manager said he would see what he could do and promised to call us the next day. Of course, we didnt get a call, so I called the store again and requested to speak to a manager and explained the situation. Again, he said he would talk to corporate and his store manager to see what they could do to make it right, and PROMISED to call me the next day. Its been 3 days no and still no call. We have a house with no couches and are stuck living like this for 2 months, and they dont even have the courtesy to give us a call or even try to make it right. I will never shop from here again.

This is an outright scam company
This is an outright scam company. Last December, I bought a sofa and bed set for a total of $14,399. The contract I signed stated that I could use their card with 60 months interest-free. Through simple math, I should be paying around $240 per month. However, I received a bill with over $500 just in interest, which is over a 30% annual interest rate, not even counting the principal. It's a complete deception. Even not worth a one star.

Good showroom, poor delivery
The sales experience was fine. Daniel was very helpful and explained a lot of options. The experience fell apart with delivery. They delivered the wrong table twice. The people at the warehouse were extremely rude and have yet to refund the delivery fee.

I was told at the store that room place…
I was told at the store that room place delivers to storages. I rented a storage. I saw a bedroom set at the store but it was sold so I looked on line ordered it. I gave my storage address and they emailed me stating they don’t deliver to storages so I gave my daughter’s address and later kn the furniture was supposed to be delivered there and the delivery guys brought some furniture upstairs and had to take it back downstairs because they said they had to set it up but I didn’t want it set up didn’t have room to have it set up. I wanted it to stay in plastic so I could later have it moved to my storage. I’m in the process of having a house built. I bought a storage for nothing and I’m very upset and disappointed. It’s my furniture I paid for I should’ve had that option. The furniture is being moved back and in the warehouse holding for me when my house is built. I just pray and hope I still can get it because it can be months before my house is built. What a bomer.
