It LIVES!!
My iPhone 8 Plus had a broken screen and I’ve heard of this company through 1057 The Point Rizzuto show and gave them a try and I was not disappointed I’m glad I didn’t loose anything the only down side was that my home button is a bit buggy but it is manageable. Would I recommend them yes I would

Shattered screen
My iPhone dropped and the screen shattered. While doing some checking on Google, FoxPaw showed up in my search as being the closest to me. I took the plunge! I ordered online, paid online and drove to the nearest Schnucks looking for the kiosk (not sure if there was human interaction) and it was right inside the door. I was a tad nervous when I starting working on the machine to turn my phone in as there was NO human to help. I entered my order number and email. The "drop box" opened telling me to remove any case I had and place it in. I did and left worrying the entire time. I dropped it in the kiosk before noon, had email notifications telling me where they were in the process and at 3:30 pm, they were done. FANTASTIC job!!! Easy process, updates given each step of the way and my phone had a new screen. Highly recommend to anyone that needs this service. I am quite impressed by it all. Thank you, FoxPaw for doing such a FABULOUS job with FABULOUS service!

Very misleading
Very misleading. Make sure you know how to check the staus of your battery before sending in. My macbook was in perfect condition except the battery which noted "replace soon." It met every condition for the normal category except that one, yet when I emailed about it, they told me that it was considered "damaged." The criteria they listed for the "damaged" category are: Damaged LCD or software issues; Jammed, missing or malfunctioning buttons; Device has been wet but is still functional; Heavy corner damages due to drops; Physical damage in multiple locations on the device; Device powers on but does not boot up properly; Screen peeling or delamination. NONE of those describe my computer, yet this company still would have labeled it damaged and tried to undersell me by hundreds. Just my opinion, but I would consider this a scam.

Hi Kira, We are very sorry to hear you are not happy how we grade things. However, this is an industry-standard as we are unable to pay full price for a computer that needs a battery replaced. In order to resell the computer, we have to replace the battery with an OEM battery that can cost anywhere from $99 - $299 for OEM. We clearly state we do not accept computers with bad batteries under normal conditions in our terms on our website. We also give all customers the chance to receive their item back free of charge if they do not like a revised offer due to it not being as described. However, it looks like you never actually used our service or sent in your computer and are criticizing us over something we have no control over. We are in business to help customers and to turn a profit and if we purchased broken computers for normal prices we wouldn't be in business long. If you have any other feedback about our company please personally call me at 314-596-1696 and we will take it into consideration. Thank you, Jon Slyman, CEO

I sent in an older Imac that stated it qualify for $200. They stated it was labeled wrong and never sent it back to me nor gave me any money for it. I would not advise using SellShark. Use another company.

Weary at first! Generous quick payout!
At first I was weary of shipping my MacBook Pro to sell shark, it didn’t have a lot of reviews and the price I was given for my MacBook was the highest number any other website had given me. It took me awhile to actually send in my laptop but once it was sent and arrived I received my money immediately! I am definitely going to use sellshark again in the future!

Dropped my iPad and shattered the glass. No other site would give me anything for it. The process with sellshark was simple and straightforward and I assume my iPad will be repaired and go to a good home...

Great Site! Trustworthy and Quick on Payment!
I had a Mac Mini I wasn't using and wanted to find the best price for it online without having to resort to eBay. SellShark gave me a much better price than any other site, paid for shipping, and sent the payment very quickly once my shipment was received. I wasn't sure what to expect but am thankful I trusted the reviews on TrustPilot and used this site. Highly recommended!

This was the easiest process I've ever had. They were quick and prompt. I didn't understand why I received a lower amount but it was free money so it was fine. But I will for sure be using them again.

Hi Melissa, We emailed your email and account on 12/13 the reason why: We have completed the process of inspection on your order. The iPhone 8 you sent in has been marked "not as described" due to the heavy scratches on the display. We can offer you $198.00 for the iPhone in "Fair" condition. Please let us know how you would like to proceed. Please let me know if you did not get this and we will figure out a way to improve our communications. We apologies for any issues. Thank you

I do not appreciate that the offer is…
I do not appreciate that the offer is changed once device is shipped with some dubious claims. I shipped a device with a cracked screen and marked the device as such. Later I was told the frame is bent which is tough to believe.
Date of experience: January 03, 2020
Hi Aasif, All items are fully inspected once we receive your device at our warehouse. When we discovered the bend in the frame we were unable to give you the original "Cracked Glass" offer. We also allow you to decline the new revised quote and we will ship your device back to you free of charge so there really is no reason why we would lie about this. I will email you pictures of the bend when we re-open Monday morning. If you would still like your device back we can arrange something. Thank you, Jon Slyman (314-596-1696)

Got a quote for my MacBook Air that was…
Got a quote for my MacBook Air that was reasonable and sent it to them. They said it was not as described since there was damage to one corner. However, the item was not damaged when I shipped it to them and I have yet to see pictures of the alleged damage.
Date of experience: January 07, 2020
Hi Trevor, We emailed you pictures of the damage on January 6th the same day you requested it. Unfortunately, if there is damage to a computer like this we are unable to pay the normal price. We warn all customers to package their devices securely so damage does not accrue during shipping as items are tossed around by the carriers during transit.

Reliable and Reasonable
I have referred several people to SellShark and found them very reliable. When I finally used them myself I received a shipping label and instructions immediately. I sent them the phone and they found damage that I was unaware of. They offered to send it back or a counter offer and ultimately we were able to agree on a reasonable offer. I was very happy with the experience.

A little more nit picky with dings and scratches than I anticipated, so I didn't receive the original appraisal or what I may have been able to get had I been willing to put in the work selling it on my own, but the quick and painless process and not having to worry about sketchy offers online made it worthwhile. Will likely use again...

Great Quote, quick to pay!
Followed through with the great quote given and were very quick to pay the amount. Providing a phone number that actually puts you in touch with a human also a plus. My only advice would be to have an additional comments section under descriptions that encourages users to add any important details on condition of items selling as the few listed in each category are very vague - I think this would help the user and company to avoid any issues meeting quotes. This did not happen to me - I actually called them to go over a few things - but a few negative reviews mention they did not get amount they were quoted. I'd definitely come here first for the unloading of any future electronics!

SellShark broke my phone then blamed me
I sent SellShark an iPhone XS that was in perfect condition. When SellShark completed their "inspection" they reported that the screen was coming off of the phone, despite it being the original screen and in pristine condition when it was shipped. They said the phone was not as described and offered me a lower trade amount. I will be taking them to small claims court since they would not admit to being responsible for the issue.
Date of experience: February 21, 2020
Hi Kyle, Thank you for the review. As stated in our email the screen was not original. It has been replaced before, clearly since the replacement screen was an LCD aftermarket screen and not an OLED screen. We sent you pictures. You can easily pry up on the screen and it will pop out of the phone. However, we are shipping your device back for free in the same condition it was received so you are not out a single penny. The only person who is out money here is us since we paid $10 shipping to get your device here and another $10 shipping to ship your device back to you. You are welcome to sell your phone to anyone if you do not feel we are fair. Thank you, Jon
