I didn't like the Continuum Onyx much…
I didn't like the Continuum Onyx much at all. I was initially excited, beyond excited, but was left ultimately disappointed. These were the issues I had with the bike: 1) it felt as though even the slightest of hills felt like I was dragging a boulder up a steep hill. It's much, much more work to ride this bike, which makes it not fun at all. It felt like such a chore. 2) right out of the box, it was very uncomfortable. It made my hands numb to ride and my crotch hurt a lot the next day after riding, always. 3) I was expecting a bike that wasn't built for speed, but it was much slower than expected even with that expectation in mind. 4) the customer service from Priority was straight trash. I shocked to find them quite rude, which is opposite of everything I read online before purchasing. They were not accomodating at all with me wanting to test ride it first, and they were rude in answering my questions. When I emailed them they simply put me on a block list. I had to contact the bank and threaten them with a chargeback just to return the bike within the return window. I don't recommend this bike at all, and most of all I don't recommend buying anything from this company. I decided to go to REI to get a cannondale bike after my experience with priority and the experience has been night and day. What I did like about the continuum onyx is the aesthetics. It's a beautiful bike. The shifting is seamless and you don't feel it at all. It's very little maintenance. It has a belt drive. Even with those positives, I just couldn't recommend anyone get this bike. Sadly, my excitement was rained on and I was just left frustrated and disappointed. Sad.

I was interested in one of their bikes…
I was interested in one of their bikes and had several questions about it. Unfortunately, they pretty much blew me off with their response. My first question was not addressed very well and quickly dismissed, without even asking for more details. My second question wasn’t even answered. I’m not impressed.

The belt failed so quickly
The belt failed so quickly. I am not even a heavy or serious user for commuting. No uphills, just used 3 times un LA and the belt seems to be the problem. I don't recommend.

Awful customer service
I bought a bike based of the measurements and recommendations on their website, and it is too small for my body frame. It literally makes my knees hurt so bad I cannot use it, the sit is supper uncomfortable too. I reached out right way and they couldn't care less. I was told too bad. So much fo their "no questions asked return policy" I begged to have it exchanged and they ignored me. Do not buy from them! You have been warned. ** Their reply to this review is just to make themselves look good, they never try to resolve anything

New bike. Used parts.
They shipped a new bike missing several key parts. Then shipped used parts to replace the new ones they failed to put in the box the first time. No attempt has been made to repair or make up for this horrible experience.

I prefer to bike from store near you
Can’t trade in bike for a new one such a bummer and for returning the bike you need to pay from your pocket need to pack everything in a box. Hate to do all that. A person without experience can’t return your current ebike

Only "Low Maintenance" for the first couple years
The "low maintenance" Enviolo hub and shift cable started falling apart after just a few years of light riding and is now stuck in low gear. Their customer service was also completely useless. Avoid Priority bikes.

Disapointed
After taking the bike to a professional to get it adjusted, I was finally able to start using it to get to work. Unfortunately I find that it requires a lot more energy to move than my previous bike. I move slower and arrive at work in a sweat. I am wondering if this is normal or if it is a problem caused by a bad adjustment of the belt. I tried to use the phone application to make the adjustment but it does not detect the vibrations.

Cheap Chinese made bike
I bought a priority start bike, and experienced major safety issues with my 5 year old son. His brakes kept failing. My mistake was buying a Chinese made bike rather than something made in the US. Never buying another Priority bike again.

Hi Derek, I can assure you that the components we use are of a solid quality. We'd love to help ensure that your brakes are functioning properly. Please let us know how to best reach out, or send us an email to [email protected]. We will get you running great! Thanks, Connor

I bought a 20 inch priority start bike…
I bought a 20 inch priority start bike for my daughter after reading all the reviews, and hoping that it will be quality bike, she had been riding strider 14 inch which was too small for her. Bike arrived fairly quickly but front brake was was broken, it was stuck to the rim all the time, I contacted the support but after a few messages and sending picture I was recommended to reach out a local mechanic. Please remember this is all for a new bike where you expect company to stand behind their products, but I should get my new bike brake tuned. I was able to disengage front brakes and let the daughter ride, she is still not a fast rider. So be prepared to spend extra if you are planning to buy this bike and run into some issues. I am not really sure about all the other positive reviews on this site, but my experience is different. I am not an expert in bikes but quality of components are just ok compared to her Strider bike. I sense that even handle is also kind of misaligned but hard to take a picture that will prove it so didn't bother reporting it. I chose this bike as it was lighter than other bikes in its price segment, but in the hindsight I probably would have chosen a Trek or an Rei bike, a pound or so of extra weight won't have mattered compared to peace of mind knowing that your kid is riding a quality product that is built correctly which you can inspect vs this bike where you are left dealing with a piece of metal that some factory could produce without any quality control check. And also read return policy carefully, you will have to pay for both way shipping, so you don't really get what you paid. I am kind of stuck with this bike, I am just hoping that my daughter grows out of this size soon and I will buy her proper bike next time. You might chose this if you are really handy with fixing bikes and it is not meant for average folks.

Before you buy the bicycle
Before you buy the bicycle, please need to think clearly, otherwise you need responsible for all return shipping and reboxing costs. If the bicycle is returned for any reason other than product defect, the buyer is responsible for actual outbound shipping costs as well,"

Bent rims when received bicycle
Bent rims when received bicycle. Wouldn’t let me add onto my order even though i waited for 2 months to receive the bike. Would have been a lot easier to fix and deal with the issues at your local bike shop. Somethings are easier to not buy online a bike would be one

Long wait time
Paid for a bicycle in January didn’t get it until June. IDGAF if there are supply chain issues don’t sell something you can’t get for six months!
Date of experience: July 17, 2021
Hi Roberto! Gave a buzz to chat through this and shot an email. I am sorry you have been disappointed. We have done our best to stay out front of all of the supply chain issues across consumer products and have been one of (if not the only) brand to offer specific delivery dates. We've worked hard to give them to give certainty to our riders and we have been ahead of the market in terms of our delivery dates. We delivered your second order before the scheduled date, and we appreciate your patience.

The Gotham bike is very poor quality
The Gotham bike is very poor quality. Avrived with bent wheels, faulty gears. The kickstand is too short so the bike falls over at the slightest breeze. Metal basket is not sturdy at all. Puncture resistant tires that have ruptures three times in the first year despite only being used for daily commute. Brakes are of the lowest quality. Buy something else.

Hi Rb, We’re sorry that your experience has been so poor, it’s unusual for us. Sometimes bad things happen with international shipping/assembly. However, we’re here to help and we stand behind our products. We’ve asked you to put us in touch with your local mechanic so that we can help to change your experience and make this right. We hope you give us the opportunity. The Priority Team
