Love the comfy clothes
I buy very little new clothes and only want comfy ethical eco clothing. I bought a pair of lounging pants 18 years ago that I wore until they were thread bare. Looked at the label and found that Indigenous Clothing company was still out there, so happy to received new comfy lounging pants & leggings. Shipment & delivery was fairly fast.

Where humanity and sustainability intertwine.
Eventhough I was only ordering sale items, when I needed to call customer service for clarification related to an email, the loveliest person answered the phone, helped me generously and did not sweat the little stuff!

Definitely will make additional purchases!
Really great product and company philosophy and very good/easy return policy (my first order so my initial sense of sizing turned out to be slightly off).

Are Items returnable?
I contacted Indigenous by email to get information about the item and if it was possible to pick up the item at the Petaluma store. No reply to my email.
Date of experience: October 14, 2020
Hi Sibyl! Sorry about that, rarely but sometimes e-mails get lost in the ether. I will contact you personally to make sure you get your questions answered.

Great Company!
Even though the items I ordered don't fit me the way I would like, I really like this company! The items were clearly good quality. I like their mission, that they honor diversity, and that they are eco-friendly. Unfortunately, I need to return my items, but I will definitely keep this company in mind for future purchases.
Date of experience: October 19, 2020
Thank you Jennifer! We're so glad you had a good experience and our taking part of this mission with us. Let us know what went wrong with the clothes and we might be able to recommend something that fits you wonderfully! Welcome to the INDIGENOUS family :)

Beautiful, High Quality Clothes with a Conscience
My go-to brand for exceptionally well made, distinctively designed, comfortable clothes. And it feels good to support a company with the beautiful mission of supporting artisans and organic farming through fair trade practices.

Perfect shoulder season garment
This waffle weave sweater is a perfect “shoulder season” garment. (No pun intended!” I bought the grey and wore it with a grey turtleneck and grey down jacket for an outside “socially distanced” meal with friends. Comfortable and stylish! A medium was perfect for this shirttail style — i am 5’3”, 120 lbs.
Date of experience: October 25, 2020
Thank you Kathryn! We love the new Waffle fabric and were so glad you do too :) The Organic Pima Cotton will stay soft and last 45% longer than conventional cotton so you'll be able to make many more memories while wearing your new favorite sweater. Welcome to the INDIGENOUS family!

The service at Indigenous is excellent and I love the clothes. They are a bit too pricy for me, which keeps me from having too many.

🌈👏🏼Beautiful Sustainable Clothes ❤️
I love the website and it was easy to shop. I received my alpaca sleeved sweater today and it is so beautiful and warm. The design and fabric are so lovely. The garment has such a unique look, is so well made, and I feel so good about the source of the fabric and how it is made. Thank you to the entire Indigenous Designs community for making responsible fashion so gorgeous! Sizing: I’m 5’3” 135lb w a 36” bust and the Small fits great including sleeve length.

Never seen such quality before
I placed my order in the morning and received the package the next afternoon. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area which is near Indigenous Designs. The Warm Waffle Henley in spruce color is beautiful. The quality and texture is amazing. When I took it out of the package, I said, "wow", "whoa", and "oh, my goodness!" I didn't realize I could be so amazed by a cotton henley. I and I think most of us have never actually seen such quality fabric and clothing before. I wish the Warm Waffle Henley came in more colors!
Date of experience: November 02, 2020
Thank you so much Clara! We're so happy to hear you loved you Warm Waffle Henley. The Waffle fabric is one of our new favorites, the texture combined with the Organic Pima Cotton is absolutely unbeatable. We can't wait to hear about all the compliments you hear with your new Henley! Enjoy :)

I have ordered many items from…
I have ordered many items from Indigenous when they are on sale. Their clothing is lovely and I can’t resist! I typically wear a medium but I always wear a small with Indigenous clothing. I highly recommend the company! Their clothes can be a bit of an investment (and for good reason). They appear to be a highly ethical company. For that reason I always take advantage of a sale when I can and thankfully they have sales pretty often.
Date of experience: November 03, 2020
Thank you so much Shawna! Your recommendation and kind words mean so much to us. We're so glad you view our clothes as an investment, they last so long and stay soft and flattering. Thank you for being part of the INDIGENOUS family :)

I have been very happy with my purchases from Indigenous. The clothes fit well, are good quality and hold their shape after many washes. I have compared their clothes with other companies and Indigenous is still on the top of my list to purchase quality clothes from. I also appreciate what they stand for.
