You will get many calls and people will bother you
I was treated very badly by an Allstate agent named Liam. He lied to me when I asked if he was with an agency that I had been talking with. He pretended that his digital assistant was a real person then finally admitted she was AI. When I told him I did not want to use Allstate because I had a quote from State Farm, he said, "well thanks for wasting my time, why don't you get your act together next time". Yet, when I asked if he was with the Agency (it was a State Farm team) he told me they referred me to him. (liar, liar, pants on fire)

Your agent Mary Lapine is a fraudster
Your agent Mary Lapine is a fraudster. She had me signed up for an insurance, stated my roof was 10-15 years old and convinced me to sign up with an insurance that needed “more information” after they took $2723.64 out of my bank account and sent me NO documents. After I confronted her on the phone she didn’t like my tone and said she was a “professional” (hardly) then hung up on me. If I don’t get my $199 fee you charged my credit card I’m filing a complaint against you with the state of Missouri. Fortunately I hadn’t canceled my other insurance. I want my credit issued to my credit card NOW. My phone number is 402-980-2107 if you even bother to call me back. You have 5 days (Feb 25th) to contact me or I start the complaint process.

Ripoff in NY
For the last 2 years, I've been told, because we live in NY that our rates have to be increased, last year by $400.00 and now again this year by another $400.00, so we went from $1300.00 a year to now paying $2200.00 a year nothing but a ripoff for the elderly on a fixed income.

Rep misled me on the quote and didn’t…
Rep misled me on the quote and didn’t tell there was a $200 fee to sign up. When I confronted her about the mishaps she acted like she didn’t do anything wrong and blamed it on being confused on what I mentioned. Told her what she was charging didn’t match her quote. I wasn’t very happy about that, she was very nice during the sales process, but I don’t like how she tried to act like she was confused when I have documentation on what she originally sent me. I cancelled my transaction.

Almost LOST my insurance due to them
One of their employees sent a message that he was not having my current insurance company renew my homeowners policy due to debris on the property. We cleaned up out property from a previous owner, over 8 months ago. He had used an aerial tax photo from 2022 taken BEFORE we purchased the home. I had to then shut down my business and take photos (of .7 acres) to send to the insurance agency to show them there is no debris. I have a home built in 1723, and no one insures these older homes, this would have been a major issue. He did not do his research properly and cost me money in having to close my business for the day to straighten this out. The laziness and incorrect information sent to my insurance agency was costly in time, money, and stress. He should be referring clients not telling insurance companies to no longer insure their current clients. I don't know if he were trying to get me into a more expensive or better commissioned policy, but this could have been a huge issue for my family. I would be very careful using this company to help find insurers.

Lies from Select Quote…
I received a call from Select Quote telling me Nationwide was not renewing my homeowner's insurance and they would have to find me a new provider. The truth is Select Quote no longer represents Nationwide and my policy is not cancelled. I will never trust Select Quote again. I'm sure the call was recorded so please listen to it.

Withdrawal much more money than told.
I was told to get started I needed to pay $411.00 and my monthly payment would be 330.00 a month. I gave my debit card number and 606.00 was taken out of my account, plus a $75.00 fee that I wasn’t told about and my monthly bill was going to be $390.00 once I got on my online policy. Needless to say I got right back on the phone to cancel! Still waiting on my refund!

Terrible Customer Service
We are not very happy what so ever. We have not had good service Nicholas Leichtenberg has left your company. He provided great service.. what a difference, We supposedly have a claim out there with Safeco, Angela Phelps still has not shown us proof or anything regarding this claim. Kemper cancelled us for lack of payment, Cameron Wilhelm clearly could have sent us a reminder about the cancellation date.. he sent an email 45 days prior and we clearly had forgotten about the upcoming cancellation date; however, we received check for $1,117.57 from Kemper, and we are paying an additional $250.00 to our escrow every month. It just does not add up.

Worst agent ever...
I had the misfortune to get the worst agent from this company. I only needed to switch auto insurance for one vehicle and home insurance for 2 properties, so the agent found the best rate from different providers. Once we were ready to input both my properties and the auto details, the agent enter wrong information on each, so we had to go back and edit these several times over a period of almost 2 weeks and over the phone and through email. Agent kept bringing the excuse that the software was at fault and that it was not him, and his attitude was the worst in term of customer service. While I sent the agent detailed emails with correct info about the insurance policies, it gave the impression that he did not read my emails, and his replies were a sentence or 2 at most; thus having to go back and forth over emails (having to follow up with him on almost every detail from emails). I'm hoping I get a different agent next time.

Give accurate quotes
Give accurate quotes. Follow through on requests for accurate quotes. Quit sending reminders when you haven't done your part yet. Even after I received a refund, I had an agent contact me to come take pictures of my house. I said I wasn't doing business with them and he came anyway.

I was not told I was going to be charged a 75.00 dollar agent fee. I can not afford that this month your leaving me with groceries by taking that money. I will cancel this whole transaction if I must

I have used selectquote for life insurance for many years and have always found them courteous and helpful. I contacted Selectquote for a homeowners insurance quote and the representative told me without a firm close date, he would not help me, then hung up on me.

The agent Ms. Latoya Malrbis is a not honest person to my opinion. I wanted the new policy to start from August 1, 2023 with monthly premium paid. She charged $1400.00 in my credit card for the whole year and the policy to start immediately.

I don't believe the agent (Ashley Watter) was honest in the way she went about things, and it hurt my feelings that she thought me that stupid.…
I don't believe the agent (Ashley Watter) was being totally honest and that opinion is wrought on at least 2 occasions. 1.) The first was that "RABBIT-OUT-A-HAT" bundling charge as she called it. She had never mentioned it before and reading through the wording, see nothing about bunling therein. If it was a processing fee, why didn't she just call it that insnsted of jerking me around? 2.) The second was telling me near the latter part of our conversation that day "Oops, I quoted you a price for no previous claim." With that, the policy cost jumped from $1636.00/yr to $1703.00/year. I submit that unless she is "very new" at this job, she purposedly set out to deceive me, and that has left a bitter (very bitter) taste and it colors my opinion of the way you do business.
