great bike for an old girl!
I love my new GREENZONE bike! I fold it up and put it in the back of my CR-V. then, when I see a flat place (like a parking lot of a school on a weekend), i get it out; pull it together and ride for a while! I got a second one for my cottage in Reno, Nevada (one for upstate NY; one for Reno).....total COOLNESS! thanks! My son is an engineer for UNION PACIFIC! i sent him one for his birthday. He LOVES IT!

RVer here! Happy with the GreenZone bikes
I am an RVer and bought two bikes with which to pack in the RV when I travel. The bikes are great for getting around short distances with light/moderate hills. I've biked 5 miles at most to get around town, to a park, museum, etc... The bikes are durable and have a solid feel. Don't expect a light, performance bicycle -- for the price, GreenZone bikes are a good bang for the buck. A good utility bike.

As easy as a full sized bike
I gave the bike away as a gift but I did get to ride it a few times. Worked very much the same as the Giant folding and the Dahon (don't remember the model) I Bwas pleased with it but more importantly my friend who rides several times a week was pleased. She discerned very little difference from a regular bike.

Hello David, Thanks for your response, your friend must be really happy with a gift like that. Glad she enjoys it. thanks alan

I absolutely love everything about my bike!
Easy to fold, always in my car, a trusted bike for the Detroit slow roll every Monday for the last 3 months!

Best bike for me
I was lucky to get this bike with the GMA deals and steals, and I'm so happy I bought it. I have a small car and didn't want to buy a bike rack, etc. This bike is easy to assemble, and i love that it fits all heights because of how it adjusts. My dad liked mine so much, we bought him one. I wouldn't take it mountain biking, but it is a good bike that has been a lot of fun to use.

Hi Natalie, Glad you and your dad are enjoying your GZ bikes. Thanks for the kind words. alan

Love the bike!
Owned the bike for almost 2 years now. Has a great ride. In a short time, the rubber piece that holds the handlebar lock in place broke. The brake noodles recently rusted off. The case only lasted one year.

Hi Mark, Glad you love the Bike! We give bag away free on all 20" bikes, they last longer if you hold the bag by the bike frame to keep from putting too much pressure on the bag itself. They are made of strong canvas so better than most and FREE. thanks alan

Great Bike!
I have a good regular size bike that I enjoy riding but when I want to go to the local bike trail, I struggle to get that bike in the back of my car. My GreenZone bike is easy to fold up, put in the back of my car and easy to unfold and ride once I get to the bike trail.

Hi Celia, the GZ folders are really compact so it is much easier to transport than a non-folder. I'm glad you are enjoying your GZ bike. thanks alan

Great shipping and bike is decent.
The bike has nice features and it does what it's supposed to do. It's actually kind of heavy in my opinion. Doesn't have any locking mechanism for the bike to stay closed when folded. Also, have to keep pedaling just to keep moving. Slows down really fast!
Date of experience: October 29, 2014
Hello Raul, Thanks for writing, yes the steel frame model is about 5-Lbs heavier than the lighter alloy model. Since it is a 7speed, you can change the gears depending on if the surface is flat or not, where you will be able to coast more without pedaling. If you have any questions, just email us at [email protected]

The bike is an excellent product and very enjoyable to ride.
You will enjoy this bike for its ease of operation and very practical storage capability. Anyone wanting a good ride and a bike you can store in the smallest of possible spaces will be very pleased with a GreenZone folding bike. I am so glad I found mine.

Two days after ordering my bike arrives all pretty and ready to roll.
If you are looking for a great bike that travels in a small area in your car, this is the Company to buy from. It fits in a RV very well and gets attention with all that see it.

Hello Nancy, Thanks for your response. Glad you are enjoying your bike. RV owners really enjoy our folding bikes like you said for storing in a small area. thanks alan

Great idea but not in practice
We sent one of our bikes with our son to Sweden and he was able to use it for several weeks. One night he left it locked up at a train station and when he got back a day later it was gone. Hopefully someone in Sweden is still enjoying the bike. The bag for the bike does not hold up well however. it was ripped and the straps unusable after its flight. I had originally bought the two bikes for my husband and I for when we travel. The bike is too small for my husband who is 6'2". Mine is so so , its not a very comfortable bike to ride. I prefer a my (external reference) bike. I have looked for a bigger framed foldable bike and have not found one. We do plan on using our one remaining bike for travel in the US, but for everyday use, its not the bike for me.
Date of experience: October 29, 2014
Hello Sarah, Thanks for writing us- We suggest the 20" or the 26" models we have-- the 16" are for shorter riders since low to the ground and not for long distance rides. The post is pretty long so should be able to accommodate your husband if raised to the max level. For a better and more comfortable riding position, might want to adjust the handlebars, you can raise them up or down about 4" and then adjust the angle of seat for a better position. If you have any questions, just let us know. thanks [email protected]

On the Move in Harlem!!!
Let me introduce you to my new, best friend Foldliesha. I love it when we go shopping together. I put my groceries on and keep it moving. When I chain her up with the biggest lock from Home Depot, I tell her I'll be right back and she waits patiently. I always get stares and compliments with my matching outfits. My fuchsia pink helmet matches perfectly with her black and white exterior as I ride down the street listening to my Sony Walkman. Foldliesha gets on my nerves a little bit when I have to carry her up my three flights of stairs. I should have gotten the lighter model but no complaints (I'm just saying) very reliable. It's the best gift I bought for my 50th birthday. We all must keep moving!!Thank you for being apart of the Universe. I needed your service. Much Gratitude! Green Zone Rules!! Sherriel

Love the Bicycle's
The bicycles are just what I was looking for, the height is perfect for me and something that I always looked for in a bike. Now that the weather is getting cooler outside we will start using the bikes on a regular basis. It took a long time to receive the bike's but it was well worth the wait.

Hello Judy, Glad you are enjoying your GZ bikes. Having our GreenZone Bikes featured on Good Morning America was amazing, except for selling out fast. Glad it was worth the wait. Normally bikes arrive to you in just a few days. thanks alan

Awesome bike!
I love my GreenZone folding bike! It is comfortable to ride and will fit anyone in my family from my five foot tall granddaughter to my six foot tall husband. It folds compactly enough to take in the trunk of a small car and to keep in a closet. It is handy and fun! The company was easy to deal with and the price of the bike was reasonable, especially considering all of the standard equipment that was optional at an additional cost for other similar brands. I would highly recommend GreenZone and would buy from them again.

Hi Kimberley, Glad you are enjoying your GZ bike! That is why we use a longer seat post so it is easier for different size riders to enjoy. Thanks for the kind words. Alan

Great bike, but don't order one until you know you are going to keep it as the return shipping is very expensive.
The only thing I'm unhappy with is the return policy. I bought a bike and would have loved riding it, but with a recent knee replacement I found it impossible to do so. It was a dandy bike and I regretted having to send it back. I also regretted the price I had to pay to ship it back! It would be nice if the company could send a prepaid label upon request. I asked for one but was directed instead to USPS as the cheapest way to return it. I ended up sending it UPS.

Hello Carol, Hope your knee gets better soon! In order for us to keep our bike prices and shipping cost as low as possible and still offer all the free accessories, we ask our customers to cover all the cost of shipping bike back as mentioned on warranty page of our website. thanks alan

Super product, super price, super service
Everything about my purchase(s) from GreenZone was first class. We all love the bikes. The service was impeccable, including replacement of a bike bag whose demise was actually fault.

Very responsive to shipping damage
One of two bikes ordered arrived with a damaged bottom bracket. Greenzone Bikes was very responsive in reimbursing me for cost of local bike shop to replace part. The bikes are easy to fold up and load in my car trunk. We plan to ride bikes on bike trails with minimal inclines. The bikes appear to be well built and set up instructions are clear and easy to follow.

Hello Robert, Glad you love your GZ bikes. Usually fedex is very good about handling and protecting the bike. We always monitor that. thanks for the review. Alan

I'm thrilled to have a GreenZone bike.
I hadn't ridden a bike in over 40 years and, living in a third-floor condo, figured I never would again. When I saw an ad for the folding GreenZone bike, in red no less, I was anxiously curious if it would work for me. I had to ask a few questions at first, as in "How do I get the seat on?" and "Now that I have it on too low, how do I get it back up?", but "Alan" was quick with a reply each time and both answers were spot on. My first trip out was grueling, but it didn't take Alan (just a neighbor) to point out my tires were rather flat. Perhaps they lost air in shipping, but that solved my problem. I am still a little hesitant around cars, but I love being able to take my bike to the library, the pool, to meetings, etc. I love that I can take it up the elevator, fold it into its bag, and stick it in my storage closet. Best of all, I live on the coast and see rusted bikes all around our condos, but mine won't be one of them. I am glad to show it off every day.

Hi Bettie, keep on showing your GZ bike off! Thanks for the nice words. Alan
