So disappointed with this service
So disappointed with this service. Clothes look amazing online so ordered 3 dresses for the bank holiday weekend. It has now been 2 weeks since I ordered and it has never arrived. I received a notice from the courier saying they couldn’t ship the package because the seller hasn’t provided an invoice. I reached out to FarmRio to try resolve and they did nothing. They have since told me the package had returned back to their warehouse and that I could have a refund, or a new package sent. There was no acknowledgement of the fact I’d been waiting weeks for this and made no effort to expedite getting me a replacement when they knew it was stuck at customs. I do not recommend this brand at all.

Order took over a month to arrive
Order took over a month to arrive. When I went to return items, I couldn't access the returns portals because my order number was not known! Customer service is responsive, but they say they'll look into the issue and get back to you. No one gets back to you without you having to chase again. Not impressed with the experience. Won't be shopping with them again.

The old address was accidentaly still…
The old address was accidentaly still there. Not even 5 minutes aftee I noticed I start calling the customer phone that nobody replies, I left at least 12 messages nobody called back, I sent 10 emails, ond rey that someone was going to get in touch, nobody got in touch, if you have a problem you are on your own, no client care they deal like they are in Brazil.

No refund received, zero communication. Joke of a company!
Dreadful experience. Clothes sent were faulty. Emailed them immediately, no reply. When they received the goods they didn’t refund me for 3 weeks despite me regularly emailing (no reply). Eventually had to get my bank to dispute the payment and then my money was returned. Absolute jokers. Will buy Farm rio from net a porter or Twin store in future. Or - more likely - will never buy anything of theirs ever again

Don’t believe the returns policy
Clothes were nice but both wrong size (despite ordering both small and extra small to try and get it right). Said online that I could return in store - went to their store in Libertys and they don’t take returns, so now I’m out £30 to send an international parcel back. Doesn’t cut it.

Package not delivered? Your problem, not theirs.
There are two types of companies in the world. Those who will resend or refund a package that hasn't showed up, and those who will basically say "sucks to be you" Farm Rio is in the latter camp. For a "luxury" brand, and one that doesn't even give you the option to request signature-only delivery they sure do have a crummy stolen-parcel policy. Only order from them by credit-card and with a locked-in purchase protection policy. Furthermore. Quality is OK. Just OK. For the cost. (lots of sticky zips and fraying stitching and thin cotton and unlined everything). Do better, Farm Rio. UPDATE: The company finally came back to me and offered to resend or a full refund. Did this take quite a few back and forth emails and thinly veiled threats of bad reviews? Why yes, it did. But in the end they did the right thing. Honestly speaking I just wish they'd add a signature option in there, or an insurance option! I would happily pay a few dollars more than that for where I live (sketchy bit of NYC)

Worst company I have ever dealt with
Worst company I have ever dealt with. My package was taking an outrageously long time to arrive so I decided to let them know I was not going to accept it. I had to call their store in Florida to get a customer service number and just got an automated response. Emailed several times and got the same response and my question was not answered. If you want to buy from this company DO NOT order online. I now have my bank filing a dispute. I purchased several of their pieces at Nordstrom & Neiman Marcus but I will NEVER purchase another thing from this company.

I had high hopes for Farm Rio
I had high hopes for Farm Rio, their collections are really unique with beautifully designed prints, but my gosh absolutely terrible customer service. I purchased an item back in May. The item arrived with a fabric defect, 7 emails later, most of which have been ignored by Farm Rio, the item is still wrapped in its original box collecting dust in my hallway. We are 4 months on and still not resolved. I will never by from Farm Rio again…

Beautiful clothes, shame about the return issues
Beautiful clothes but they don’t make it clear that if you want to return something, you need to pay £30 for tracked returns to the US. Don’t buy directly from the website if you aren’t sure about item, get it from a reseller instead.

Refund issue
I ordered a pretty dress which was also a little expensive. It arrived without any issues but was very creased and not what I expected. I paid to post the item back as it did not fit me correctly. It’s tracked as received in the USA. But I’m still waiting for a refund. I have emailed several times and I only get automated responses written in Brazilian language. I live in the UK and paid international postage back to the USA. There is a customer service number but obviously ringing the USA from UK is expensive. This has made me never want to order from the company again even though I see lots of lovely items on the webpage online. The return tracking via Royal Mail is LG094998968GB And the order number is GE2722431586US And item: Afternoon Breeze Midi Dress Quantity: 1 Total: £ 170.00 (on sale) I mean they have the returned dress so why don’t I have my money back? (I must also add that after paying return postage I later discovered by playing with the returns portal that I could have returned this for free. It is such a shame as originally I was signposted to ‘returnly’ and there was no free return postage made available via that portal). Farmrio need to make online shopping and returns easier and also refund monies for returned goods to give better customer satisfaction.

If I could give zero stars I would
If I could give zero stars I would. This company is very unethical in its selling practices. I ordered item from website based on the pictures and the description and when I received the item it was not the same. On the website the item had tan tassels on the sleeves and the bottom and the description said same. What I received had green tassels on sleeves and none on bottom. I tried to contact them regarding the item and they basically told me they would not do anything about it. Not sure how they can stay in business treating customers this way. I will never purchase from them again.

Still waiting on a refund
Order shoes that were too big. Sent them back for an exchange. Received the exchanged shoe and it was already worn with scuff marks and toe prints..eww! Sent those back for a refund and didn’t receive my money yet. The return package says delivered and i have a email saying they received it so where’s my money?! I’ve emailed them about 3 times and still nothing. I’ve even called a number they have listed..nothing. Avoid this company at all cost!!

Terrible experience
Terrible experience! The blouse I ordered ripped after wearing it three times and I tried for weeks to get a response from customer service and they never responded beyond the initial “we’re sorry.” I even called the store but they weren’t able to help either. Super disappointing to throw an expensive blouse in the garbage.

I am truly appalled by Farm Rio's customer service. I have several of their dresses, all of which I have purchased through a retailer. But I tried buying a dress when the official site was having a sale. I typed in everything to make the order, but noticed there was a promo for 30% off, phone froze before I could tap that in, and accidentally (after i put my phone in my bag) the order was made at the full price. I called Farm Rio, emailed Farm Rio, about 10 different times within 5-10 minutes after this order. I got an automated friendly response, saying to contact them within business hours (this all happened on a Friday morning at 10:20 EST so it WAS within business hours) and then moments later I get an email saying my oder was "dispatched." It's just wrong. Wrong, wrong, wrong to treat people this way. I made every attempt available to contact them. Then, when I was trying to cancel my order, they don't allow that since it was "dispatched" yet they weren't able to respond to email or call? It's just BAD customer service and I recommend do not order from them. If you make a mistake, you are screwed. They don't care.

I should decide when to wear the perfume.
The clothes are unique and of decent quality. My issue was that they sprayed everything I bought with some kind of perfume. At first I thought they sent me something pre-worn but they said they SPRAY THE CLOTHES. To pre-spray and perfume NEW clothes is ridiculous to me. I placed a few orders with them (because I asked them not to spray the clothes in advance, and they said they would but it came sprayed anyway...) One order was so strong it actually gave me a headache and made me feel sick. Given that a lot of people have allergies and/or are sensitive to the perfumes of others, it's a really stupid idea to spray clothing with a scent in advance. After they continued to spray the clothes on my orders, I decided just to never order again.

What You Need To Know
Here are a few pointers when ordering. 1. The cardigans and jackets run WAY huge. Order extra small if you're a medium or even large. 2. If you order a lot of items (like I do 4x a year), always check the 'sent' email. If you order 10 things, 8 may ship. After waiting a month for the other 2 orders, they emailed me back saying those items were sold out. I was so baffled that they were going to keep the money and not tell me, but wait for me to contact THEM. Check and make sure it all arrives. 3. If you order during a sale, if can take 4-6 weeks to arrive. So don't order before the holidays (like we did) and have your package delivered 5 weeks later while you're on xmas break for 2 weeks, allowing the package to be stolen. Add 4-6 weeks and make sure you'll be home. 4. Their clothing isn't organic and mainly basic cotton, so overpriced for what it is, but I keep ordering because I love the patterns and colors. The best value are the cardigans and puffer jackets, during a sale. 5. Their biggest sales are in Nov and July. 6. Don't EVER plan on returning anything. If you order from them, plan on keeping it. 7. If you think you might need to return something, order it from Saks when they have a sale. 8. Remember, if they don't ship part of your order, you need to contact them to get a refund, because they won't tell you it is sold out. It's happened a few times and I can't believe it each time. Like, what if I didn't notice an item was missing (I travel for long periods), they would just keep the payment. They don't tell you after you've paid that it is sold out. Only after you email them. 9. They pitch it as a fem founded run brand, but it's owned by Grupo Soma, a major conglomerate, not a sweet fem founded company (originally co-founded by a man and woman).

Unexpected incoveniences
I experienced the same thing as an earlier poster, the clothes arrive with a strong and very distinct perfume. Ithought someone had worn my dress, the smell was so strong and I dislike the fragrance. Dresses do run pretty large, order a size down if you try them and they arrive in need of steaming or ironing. I also have not heard back from their customer service,but at least I have my dresses and will take them to the alterations.

This place, Farm Rio, does NOT deserve even one star, but had to tap on something to leave a review! A word of advice——Don’t ever buy anything from Farm Rio!!! This place only wants your $$$ money not your satisfaction with their product!!!! First off——-What Company anywhere on Gods earth only gives you 30 days to Return or Exchange an Item from the time you Purchased it??? Not from the time it arrives??? Meaning you don’t have time to Return or Exchange! I requested information on how to Return 2 Items and they did NOT get back to me for several weeks! It’s all a scam! Once you buy their product you are stuck with it!!! Horrible horrible company! The absolute worst I’ve ever delt with and that’s no exaggeration! And apparently everyone agrees with me because I have NOT seen one positive review!!! The Company is a total Rip Off! I threw $300 away!!! Do yourself a favor and delete this Company from your list!!!

I really wish I had read these reviews prior to shopping with FarmRio. Several people I know are customers and love their stuff. Now I know better. 2 dresses that I paid way too much for are eligible for return but the site says they are not. It is so frustrating dealing with a company that doesn't respond to emails, phone calls or the chat feature. So disappointed with this company.
