I still have not received my check that…
I still have not received my check that was supposed to be mailed ( confirmed twice) on 4/25 or 4/26 This email was addressed to Steve and Sybil Grimes. Sybil died in 2015 and the death certificate was given with the title and keys. I was contacted several times, asking for the same information. 2 individuals were very hard to understand. Background noises on one call

If things seem off, trust your gut.
I went online and received my quote for the car. Spoke to Jose and he walked me through how to proceed. He was polite, answered my questions and was very timely with his responses. They required a picture be sent of the signed and notarized title (front & back) along with the lien release. This made me a little nervous but I went ahead. Everything was fine until the order went to the OKC location at which time I explained that I would need the car picked up after 11:00. When the driver texted me @ 8:30 am, I requested that they send me a pic of the check so I could call the bank and verify funds prior to them arriving. Having never done anything like this, I was suspicious and wanted the reassurance that I was not getting scammed. My fears were heightened after the OKC location refused to do so. I called Jose back and explained. We agreed that once the driver arrived, I could call and verify with the bank; however, when I called OKC back they adamantly told that the driver would not wait for me to do that (which would probably take 5 minutes). At this point, I told them to forget the sale. If a company is really legit, why would they object so strongly? Be cautious!

Garbage company
Garbage company. I send pictures of the tile as requested, and they texted me I need to reach out to them. I reach out 5 times, spoke to 3 different people every time. Hard to understand and lots of noises of the line. Every time I asked a question takes the guy a couple seconds to respond back and it’s uncomfortable. At the end they hang up on me. And I tried to reach back and same thing over and over.

The pick up was an absolute joke
The pick up was an absolute joke. The pick up driver was 5 hours past the 1-5pm pick up window. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Cost me extra money to have someone stay available with the vehicle for the pick up. Your comment owes me money money for the trouble. I’m looking into contacting an attorney for legal action

Trying to do things illegally
Driver did not call, then showed up late, then pressured me to illegally fill out the title, so that your company could illegally jump title. A call to the Indiana attorney general might be in order

Good morning. We appreciate you choosing CashforCars.com to sell your vehicle. I am slightly confused by your review and am hoping you can make some of your statements a bit more understandable. How did the tow truck driver pressure you into "illegally" signing your title? You are required to sign your title as you are selling us your vehicle. The vehicle purchasing agent informed you of this before concluding the sale. Lastly, had you NOT signed the title and we then resold the vehicle, THAT would have been "jumping" the title. Copart is a $50B, publicly traded, Nasdaq-listed business, buying and selling more than 5M vehicles annually. We have been in business for 40+ years and operate in 12 countries. I assure you that the transaction was handled properly and legally. Don't hesitate to contact us at [email protected] to discuss this further. Thank you, David.

I will not use this company again and…
I will not use this company again and will urge others not to. Called got a quote agreed to it, tow driver comes starts to inspect the car like he is a used car salesman looking at my trade. Then offers me a much lower price than I had agreed on. When I get on the phone to complain he tells my there isn't a catalectic converter on it ( there is I took pictures) and drives away. Called both this company and the tow company, both only blew smoke.

If I could give no stars I would
If I could give no stars I would! I spoke with men named Akshay, Ahmed, and Radhi; obviously an Indian-based company. The last two were rather curt and rude and hung up the phone on me when I cancelled the sale. Their conversation is rather sketchy also. This company does not offer you top dollar for your vehicle, junk or not. You get more through Peddle. They're more courteous and professional! I will never contact nor refer cashforcars.com to anyone!

Run. Don’t Waste Your Time. I Did.
After reading the reviews, I’m convinced that they were bought or fictional. After collecting my information and sending them pictures of my immaculate car, they hung up on me. I called them back. They never picked up. This country is going down to hell in a hand basket fast. Customers us to be treated well, now we are treated like trash. I will NEVER refer this company to anyone in my circle.

This was my first time using a service…
I had originally written a review praising Cash For Cars in Dallas, Texas for efficiency and transparency during the process of selling my car to them. I went to cash the check at the bank in which they do business with and was informed that the check was not valid. Cash For Cars wrote me a hot check. This was my first time doing business with a service such as Cash For Cars as I typically do business with legitimate dealerships. I will never do business with a service such as this one again. I have contacted one of my lawyers and will begin the process of not only remedying this situation but also ensuring that these criminals are properly dealt with. I am lucky enough to be in a position where I don't need this money immediately, however if somebody is using one of these services because they require a quick turnaround time they really ought to consider other possible options. The group of people that are running this business are efficient in each of their processes including taking advantage of you.

Good morning, I am sorry to hear you claim that your bank would not cash our check. You have not provided reasons as to the "why." Your check was a Copart "Bank of America" check. Please note that Copart is a $50B, Fortune 1000, Nasdaq-listed business (CPRT) doing business for the past 40 years. We operate in 12 countries and have 10,000+ employees globally. There is no legitimate reason the check could not be cashed. We buy and sell 5 Million vehicles per year. You would be hard-pressed to find another review stating a seller had a problem cashing their payment. Again, I am sorry your bank had some issues with our payment, but perhaps the bank manager could have remedied the issue. If you want to discuss this further, please reach out to to [email protected]. We assure you, your check is 1000% valid. Thank you.

Had multiple different people…
Had multiple different people communicating with me and had to retell each one what was going on. They were supposed to send a check via mail, its been over a week with no check. Pretty sure I got ripped off. Cant get a hold of the person I was working with to see what is going on with my check because I had calls from 5 or 6 different people all about the same car. I hope my check shows up soon. If not legal action will be taken.

Good afternoon, Mr. Zimmerman. I am unsure why you are having difficulty getting paid or reaching out to someone on our team. But that being said, I will immediately look into the situation. I assure you, you were not ripped off. Copart, our parent company, is a Fortune 1000 company publicly listed on the NYSE (CPRT). We have been in business for 40+ years, operate in 12 countries, and purchase/sell ~5 million vehicles annually. I will have a member of the team contact you immediately. Once again, we apologize for any miscommunication that may have occurred; we will rectify this immediately. Thank you.

Every touch point of communication took…
Every touch point of communication took 3 phone calls to 3 different people. What should have only take a day or two streteched out into a week and a half of back and forth. When the tow truck finally did meet me he was an hour late. I would have been better off just calling a local salvage yard.

False Promise of Payment
We have been waiting for our payment check for over 2 months now and we have yet to receive anything. You have the car, the POA for the title yet we have not check!!! This is theft and if not rectified quickly, I will be forced to go to the authorities and file a claim.

Cash for Cars - Copart lost my business
We spent an hour going over the title and sent a copy of the signed title and received an offer. When I brought the car in ( towed) copart denied the sale because it was a Tennessee title in Louisiana. I had to call for another tow. In total I spent every bit of the money Cash for Cars offered. As a result we called Kars for Kids and donated the car to them. As I explained in response to a text, I won't be using this service ever again. It was terrible that your phone personnel don't talk to Copart and Copart won't honor what Cash for Cars says. Please stop trying to reach me about this.

Keystone Cops
Multiple calls from multiple representatives, none of which communicated with each other. I gave information to one only to have others call back multiple times to ask for the same information, without things being finalized. Total keystone cops experience.

Reps have no clue about what needs to be done. I wait for 3+ hours for a call back that never happens. Had to call back and start all over again. Background noise from other people talking interfere with your own call.

Bait and Switch
Honestly, I was offered one price and then one day later told it would be a lower price. And given the fact my car was running but was deemed inoperable by this company is a fact that will keep me from letting anyone I know using this service.
