Novice DIYer was successful.
Being a novice DYI person I was able to install my beadboard and chair rail fairly easily. I was intimidated since it was so high quality, fearing making a mistake. No problems, just more steps since I had to prime and paint to get the look I wanted. Don’t forget to get their baseboard. Big box store usually don’t have the thickness needed for the beadboard...I tried. All in all it was a fun and successful project. Shipping took a little longer than expected but that may have been because I ordered during a pandemic. Customer service was great too.

Excellent Customer Service
Excellent Customer Service Purchased moisture resistant product for bathroom. The carpenter we hired said good product to install. The painting of the product does take patience! I paint all the time. Be ready to invest a good amount of time. Following the instructions provided on line re: how to prep and paint....it took us one coat of primer and 3 coats of paint! If I were to do again....I would have sprayed the product with primer first and then installed. I do highly recommend as it looks terrific.

Beautiful product
I am a do-it-yourselfer. Was considering the products offered in the big box stores that are "a one-day project" as a housewarming gift for my son's new home. I am very glad I went for the better quality. It was worth the extra money and the additional time. I called American Beadboard several times with questions about installation and spoke immediately with a real, helpful, human being! The previously drab boxy guest bathroom looks amazing, if I do say so myself!

Our American Beadboard is 5/8"thick with deep bead grooves which separates it from the run of a mill cheap beadboard that is on the market. Our mission is to provide a great Beadboard that is reasonably priced that will ship in 3 to 5 business days.
